How to Play Rip Daily
Rip Daily is a free daily pack-ripping card game: buy or claim a pack, tear open the foil, flip each card face-down-to-face-up one at a time, and build a 192-player binder across 32 fictional football teams. Here's exactly how every system works.
Ripping a pack
Every pack opens the same way: drag across the foil wrapper to tear it, then tap the top card to flip it and swipe it away to reveal the next. The pack shop sells four tiers:
| Pack | Price | Cards | What's guaranteed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Pack | 100 coins | 5 | 4 Commons + 1 shot at the big hits |
| Premium Pack | 250 coins | 5 | Rare or better |
| Ultimate Pack | 600 coins | 5 | Holo/Chrome or better |
| Black Label | 1,500 coins | 1 | Numbered or the 1/1 |
Every pack also has a chance — 12% to 30% depending on the tier — at a bonus sixth card from one of the Series 1 insert sets below. The exact odds for every pack, rarity, and insert set are published in-game under Shop → Pack odds, and never change based on anything you do — there's nothing to buy that alters them.
The rarity ladder
Every base card is one of six rarities, called out on the card's nameplate as a "parallel":
| Rarity | Parallel |
|---|---|
| Common | Base |
| Uncommon | Green Refractor |
| Rare | Purple Refractor |
| Holo/Chrome | Prism Refractor |
| Numbered | Red Refractor, printed #/99 |
| One-of-One | Superfractor, 1/1 — every player's 1/1 can only ever be pulled once, by one collector |
Duplicate protection
The higher the rarity, the less likely you are to pull a card you already own. Numbered and One-of-One cards are fully duplicate-protected — you'll never pull a second copy of a Numbered card while an unowned one still exists. Below that, protection is partial: you're more likely to see a new card than a repeat, but duplicates still happen (and can be sold — see below).
There's also a tier-overflow rule: once you own every card in a rarity tier, any further pull of that tier automatically upgrades one step up the ladder instead of handing you a duplicate.
Series 1 inserts & parallels
The bonus slot doesn't pull from the base rainbow — it draws from four permanent sets, each printed in its own card design rather than the standard chrome look:
Insert cards are tracked separately from your base binder — pulling them never uses up a base-rainbow duplicate-protection slot, and your binder completion percentage is based on the base rainbow alone. Your Binder tab has a progress chip and its own album page for each set.
Coins: earning and spending
- Free pack. A Standard Pack is free to claim every 10 minutes. If you don't want to wait, an optional rewarded ad clears the cooldown instantly.
- Daily streak bonus. Claim once every calendar day: 250 coins × your current streak day, capped at 1,500 coins. Miss a day and the streak resets to day one.
- Coin bounty. Watch a rewarded ad for a flat 150 coins, up to 5 times per day.
- Discovery bonus. The first time you pull any new card, you're paid half its sell value on top of the pull itself.
- Set & tier jackpots. Completing a team's full roster at a given rarity, or collecting every card in an entire rarity tier league-wide, pays a one-time coin jackpot — these scale up steeply at the higher rarities.
- Selling duplicates. Every card has a sell value by rarity, from Commons up to 1,000 coins for a One-of-One. The Binder's "Sell All Dupes" button clears every duplicate at once, always keeping your oldest copy of each card.
There are no real-money purchases anywhere in Rip Daily — every coin above is earned by playing or by choosing to watch an ad.
Keeping your collection
You can play as a guest with progress saved to that device only, or sign in with Google to back your binder up to the cloud and carry it to any device. Guest progress can be claimed by a Google account at any time from the Stats tab without losing anything.
Tips for new collectors
- Standard Packs are the most coin-efficient way to chase Commons and Uncommons early — save Premium and Ultimate for once your base rainbow is thinning out.
- Sell duplicates often; idle dupes are coins doing nothing for you.
- The daily streak bonus compounds fast — claiming it every day is worth more than any single pack purchase.
- Insert sets are permanent and never rotate out, so there's no rush — Throwback Chrome in particular is a long-term project alongside your base binder, not a race.
