What's new in Rip Daily
Every update to the game, newest first. Series 1 is permanent content — updates add to the game, they never rotate anything out.
July 25, 2026Public web launch
Rip Daily officially opens its doors at ripdaily.com, alongside a proper home page, this update log, the FAQ and the full Series 1 checklist. If you were one of the collectors ripping during the quiet weeks before launch — your binder, streak and leaderboard spot carry over untouched.
July 22, 2026Hobby guides and a real icon
- New guide pages: How to Play, the full Pack Odds breakdown, and a collector's glossary of hobby lingo.
- A real Rip Daily app icon — chrome hexagon, lightning bolt — replacing the placeholder on every platform and home screen.
- Better link previews when you share your pulls.
July 21, 2026The social layer
- Live pull ticker: notable pulls — Holo or better, or any insert — now stream onto the shop screen in real time under each collector's display handle.
- Global leaderboard: the top 50 collectors by collection score, on the stats screen. Guests get a collector handle automatically; Google sign-in uses your name.
July 18, 2026Coin Bounty
A new optional way to earn: watch a rewarded ad for +150 coins, up to five times a day. Entirely opt-in, and capped so ripping — not watching — stays the core loop.
July 17, 2026Series 1 inserts & parallels
- Four permanent insert sets land in the bonus slot: Throwback Chrome (all 192 players, vintage bronze), Golden Boot (32 kickers, lime foil), Team Captains (32 franchise bests, holo crest) and Gridiron Legends (the top 16, black-and-gold deco).
- Every pack now has a 12–30% shot at one bonus insert on top of its regular cards; completing a set pays a one-time jackpot.
- Each insert set got its own fully distinct card design, and base cards gained city-skyline backdrops with a signature landmark for every team.
July 13, 2026The rip got real
- Drag-to-rip: packs now open the way they should — grab the foil and tear.
- Cards reveal in crescendo order, saving the best for last, with procedural sound effects and a mute toggle.
- Numbered and One-of-One pulls get a serial-stamp animation.
- Cookie consent banner added on web — analytics and ads only run if you opt in.
July 11, 2026Rip Daily, free forever
- The game became Rip Daily and moved to ripdaily.com.
- All real-money purchases were removed for good. Every coin is earned by playing; the game is supported by ads instead, including an optional rewarded ad to skip the free-pack cooldown.
- Share your pulls straight to social from the pull dialog.
